Shatakia Niles

Shatakia Niles is the Founder and Director of Operations for Lorraine & Associates Administrative Services (LAAS), a business development company which focuses on non-profit organizations and small businesses. LAAS provides such services as website design/maintenance and organizing start-up solutions for clients. Shatakia enjoys consulting and providing services to start-up clients in need.
Shatakia attended Nova Southeastern University, earning her BA in Business Professional Management and a minor in Finance. Beginning a career in the insurance industry while pursuing her degree, Shatakia now has over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. She climbed the ranks and learned the “ins and outs” of the insurance industry, spending most of her career with CNA Insurance, holding her last position as a Business Analysis Director of the Inland Marine Organization. Looking to expand her company knowledge and underwriting background, Shatakia also spent time at Hanover Insurance managing a portfolio of agent/broker business within Georgia and Alabama, focusing on Property, Inland Marine and Ocean Cargo lines.
Shatakia believes that giving back and participating in community are important to her life and strives to do so in the areas that she feels called to. Most recently, Shatakia has taken on her biggest endeavor following the vision placed on her heart of empowering women, personally and in business, through the Soul Healing Conference. The inaugural conference took place in September 2015 at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, GA. In 2016, she was also appointed as a board member and treasurer of Ambassadors, Inc., a non-profit mentoring program for homeless youth.
