Sherod Mitchell

Founder & CIO

A native Central Floridian, Sherod fell in love with helping others at an early age. Inspired by assisting her parents as volunteers in various inner city non-profit organizations, Sherod developed a deep passion for assisting others and teamwork even as she played basketball for Valencia College. This resolve remained with her through college, leading her to get her BA in Christian Counseling from Faith Christian University. For over 15 years, Sherod has provided counseling, and health and fitness training to youth. Through academic training programs and ownership of a Junior Orlando Magic Basketball Program, Sherod has contributed to positive youth development with emphasis on helping young girls. She desires to develop responsible women with a sense of pride to achieve their dreams.

Sherod acquired executive experience through management positions held with corporate employers including FedEx, PRC and Spirit. Sherod is a Certified Corporate Trainer from Rollins College and Project Manager from George Washington University. With this managerial background, she is poised to administer and implement initiatives that will help young girls avoid pitfalls and reach their full potential.

Sherod passionately said, "I am happy spending my days helping young girls be the best that they can be. I am excited to see where we can take C.A.M.P.!"
